I was at Rheinland 81-84 I got saved in that church. Best time of my life. Pastory Roy was like a father to me. I pray for the family that the love of God will wrap around them. I would like to contact with anyone from that time. I am on facebook. |

Hello Everyone!
We were at Rhineland from 2001 to 2003 and are very thankful that God gave us a great church during this time in our lives. We are currently living in Knoxville, TN. I read that Bethany Teague was graduating from Crown College, which is 20 minutes from where we live. We hope Brother Woody, Kathy, and the family are doing well. We miss you all and again, "Thank you" for following God's will for your lives. Your family was a blessing to us!!

As we are preparing for yet another move-to the Indianapolis are-I was taking a "trip down memory lane" by looking up all the churches we've attended over the years. Rheinland was the first and certainly grounded our family very well in the Word, for which we are very grateful! We now have 5 kids, Alex (23), Sam (20), Megan (18), Liz (11), and Andy(8).We would love to hear from our dear friends the Hazles and Kim Blakeslee! We often wonder what everyone is up to these days. |

I was part of the Rheinland family from 90-92...I miss the times hanging out at the servicemans center with Lance,Mark,Mike,Jim and Gene. Pastor Roy,brother Rundal, the McAfee's,Berries,the Richards,Culbertsons and Pastor Woody. The line in the sand was drawn several times...are you a Cowboy fan or a Redskin fan. I want to thank you all for your leadership and love. |

Nancy and I were there from Jul 31st 1985 to April 1989 it is ironic that the day I arrived in Germany was the 23 years and 1 day to the day of Bro. Grigsby passing, it was his passing that made me surf the web and found this site while it is true I pastored a church in northern Arkansas from Jan 1995 - Jan 2002 and later tried to go on the mission field back to Europe to the military, God had other plans. While on deputation I hit a deer north of Cheyenne WO. Just south of Custers last stand, it was that deers and mine last stand as it hurt my back and I have been disable for four years. I have a surgery to remove a disk and fuse my spine but that will not remove the fybromyalgia and sleep apenia I suffer from not to mention metabolic syndrome. It is my prayer that I can finally get out of this bed and go back to church after the surgery as for now I am bed reddin or house bound for the last 4 years. If all goes well I will know in a couple of months I will be back in the saddle and serving the Lord in our local church in charge of our local Christian School. Lord my one day see fit to open a door to allow me to pastor until then we wait on him. God Bless all who read this and pray for Florann and her family I am sure they would appreaciate it. |

Hello, I have been priveledged to attend East Side Baptist Church under Brother Roy Grigsby and was fortunate to call it an honor to have him as our pastor these last 13 years. We love him and his presence will surely be missed. Brother Roy had a heart for missions and so did our church. I feel it to be an honor to have worked with Pastor Grigsby as our missions secretary. I think it is neat that we all have a connection with Rheinland Baptist Church and Bro. Grigsby in some form. Please keep his family and our church in your prayers in the months ahead. May God Bless all of you. |

My family and I were stationed at Ramstein from '81-'85. Some of my fondest memories are from Germany. I spent my pre-teen and teenage years there at Rheinland. I just heard from Paulette (Kwaak) Stewart that Brother Roy had passed away. What a sad day for the Grigsby family and those of us left here on earth. He was such a wonderful person and our prayers are with Florann, Jimmy, Charlene, Rob and the entire family. My parents are Ron and Marty Cooper. Please email me if you remember us! |

My wife and I were members of RBC from Jan 79 to Jan 82. I remember when we were in the small building behind the pizza place. We literally had people standing outside looking in through the windows! Hello everyone! My family went to RBC from '93 to'96. I attended RCA for 1st and part of 2nd grade and my sister, Candice, was in 2nd and 3rd grade. I became a Christian at Rheinland and my sister was baptized there. I hope and pray that someday I will be able to come back and visit RBC and once again see all the people that were so influential in my walk with Christ. |

I was stationed at Ramstein AB from Dec 80 to Deb 82. I attended RBC for about a year during that time. Pastor Roy and the others who attended made my time there wonderful. I eventually retired with 20 years in the Air Force in 2000. I got married to a wonderful lady on March 8th, 2007. Thanks for all the wonderful memories. |
